Harmattan Risk’s principal axis of expertise is intelligence and planning for complex times and places, and we have tended to be regionally agnostic. However, over the years we have accumulated considerable on-the-ground experience in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), as well as regional contacts. Thus, MENA is an exception to our functional focus on political risk management. On our own we would not consider ourselves to be regional specialists, but our partnership with Buhaisi Consulting International (BCI) adds considerable regional knowhow. We have worked with BCI since 2012.
